For the Curious - Try Alpha
Alpha is aimed at people who want to take some time to explore, with others, the Christian faith. It’s an 11 week course that helps people explore the essentials of the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening and friendly atmosphere. The course starts with eating dinner together followed by a video for the week’s theme and then small groups where there is an opportunity to discuss the issues raised in the talk. This course meets in person. For more information visit: waltonparish.org.uk
Where can I find real and lasting hope? Hope Explored
Over three sessions, Hope Explored presents the life, death and resurrection of Jesus and provides an opportunity to discover how he fulfils three great longings we all experience: the longing for hope, peace, and purpose. The structure of each session is simple: a short Bible study, a talk (you can give your own using our talk outlines or use our films) and a discussion based on the talk. This course meets in person.
